The Last Time Neopets went 'Down for Mantience'

Well I was thinking today, about the battledome, and how I could get some of the challengers, when I saw the Down for Mantience Pteri, and it got me thinking - When was the last time the site went down, personally I don't think its happened in a long time. I think TNT has been doing a good job keeping the site in working order.

(actually you don't get the challenger from that, you get it from a random event I believe. )

i havent noticed it in a while... i assume when the new sidebar is implemented they'll have it down for a little while, or not? is it necessary?

Shhhh its still the (usually down for maintenance) weekend, we'll talk about it on monday!!lol

I think the last time was when there was all those moving servers and McD stuff. Wait...was there a Down for Maintence msg at that time?

It's been a nice 'no maintenance' run. Like a summer vacation or sumpthin!

The frequent "Down for Maintenance" pages seemed to stop about the time that TNT outsourced their servers to another company. I think I've only gotten them a couple of times in the past few weeks. Sometimes in the middle of the night, the site gets a little laggy and game scores won't send. But all in all, it's been a huge improvement!

Seems to me like the one for any major length of time was in late July--when a lot of people lost all of the items in their shops for a few days--some for a few weeks.
And, it has been relatively glitch-free for awhile too--gee, hope we aren't jinxing ourselves by saying this!

I relised that too when I got the Pteri as a challenger, they are doing somewhat of a good job ^-^
