How many codestones do i need??

i know that i cant train my pet's state/2 is higher then my pet's level , but let say my pet is 240level , and the defence is only 10 ,then i need to pay 8codestones or 1 codestone for training his defence??

No matter how low the stat is, it's going to be based solely on the level. Neo is screwd up that way, but oh well.

that means i need to use alot codestone even my pet's states is low but it's level is high right??

Yes. If your level is too high, you could try playing deadly dice to decrease it.
