Fri Nov 05, 2004 6:06 pm

Any help/recommendations are welcome.

Level : 15 lab rat

Health : 302
Strength : ULTIMATE (164)
Defence : EXCELLENT (41)
Move : ULTIMATE (153)

My current weapons:

Yellow Sticky Hand
Moon Staff (spare)
Downsize!
Green Frost Cannon
Illusens Earth Potion
Sinsis Sword
Lost Desert Dagger (spare)
Scuzzys Comb
Greater Healing Scroll
Leaf Shield
Virtupets X-514 Super Shield (spare)
Honey Potion

Abilities:
Burrow
Drain Life

My budget is 2 million and I would also like to do better in one player battles as well as the next war is. Any suggestions?

First off, I have a pet with similar stats/weapon icons to yours, and all I can say is... don't bother until you get the next strength boost.

My strategy would be as follows:

If you're looking just to beat him once, I'd go with the all-out approach (slightly dangerous, but...) and buy a Scroll of Freezing (sell after one use, if it doesn't break). The first turn, use Drain Life (weak) to drain ~27 hp from him. (Reducing him to 223 hp) Use a Water Muffin for the attack and hope he doesn't block it. On the next turn, do two Water Muffins + Fierce Attack. You should do ~126 damage, bringing him down to 97 hp. Then on the next turn, you're screwed, since he'll probably use a prismatic mirror and/or jade scorchstone, and then he heals fully, so all you can do is use your Scuzzys comb and Sinsis Sword and just defend like mad, since doing a fierce attack again will most likely get you killed, unless you get super lucky.

As for doing good in wars... I had Dual Sinsis Swords in the last war, got 800 points, but it was annoying because they're very unpredicatble. I'd recommend a Ramtors Spellbook, but they'll probably be downgraded. Right now I have Dual Dark Battle Ducks and they seem to do fairly well. (I have similar stats to your pet)

I beat him with the 85 SB and about 200 HP, and here's how I did it (replacing with more current weapons):

First turn: it is imparative that you freeze and do not take damage. Use a freezing scroll if you have to, and fling your honey potion while burrowing. If he takes a good deal of damage (like he berserks), proceed to step two.
Second Turn: send two water muffins and a fierce attack his way.
Third Turn: send out two more water muffins and sink. Pray that he doesn't heal or reflect the next turn.
Fourth Turn: Scuzzy's Comb, Downsize, and defend. Pray that he's dead.
Fifth Turn (if absolutely required): Scuzzy's Comb, Healing Scroll, Defend.

If at any time he heals or reflects, you're boned. It has to work out just right for this to work.
