Mad Scientist Battledome Challenger

Hi!

I've been using the lab ray for a LONG time, and I REALLY need that darn challenger. So much easier to use the battledome to change my poor poogle back to a girl than to risk his species/paint job using the ray.

Any who, does anyone know how to actually get the scientist as a challenger? Is it just a totally random thing that happens one day or does my lab rat need to changes species/color? We haven't changed species since july, but we changed to coconut about 4 days ago, and I didn't get the scientist as a challenger.

Any help?

I'm fairly sure (although I haven't gotten it yet) that it's a random event on the page right before you zap your pet. So you should be able to get it without actualy using the lab ray.

edit- i got him! it only took 10 mins of refreshing too! Now... to turn kristy back into a girl! Hopefully this guy doesnt change colors!

if you hit the f5 button repeatedly without actually letting the page load it goes much quicker. though i dont know if that would be the best thing to do with a slow computer... it might crash. i just refreshed like that and then went to the challenger page and poof, he was there! now... to beat his little scorchio bum...

I got that challenger a while ago; I accidently clicked a link on my favourites and I ended up getting him. Very useful for turning Luki back into a girl, and now that you've brought the matter up, I'm going to turn Garon604 the Ice Bori back into a male.

is it just a random whenever he decides to change your pets gender? the pet i am sending is not my battle pet, and even my battle pet has no chance againt HT weapons. we get smoked every 3rd round cause mr scientist decides he has to use that darn sword of skesadon (sp) or those air faerie acorns. grrr....

I'm pretty sure you get the avatar once your pet changes SPECIES.
Are you SURE you don't have the avatar? Take another look?

oh, I know I don't have the avatar, my pet hasn't changes species since the before the avatar was released. I want to change a former lab rat back to a female without risking his pirate poogle good looks, but I guess it's gonna take a LONG time for that to happen.

Yeah it's pretty random but you should be able to get it without beating him.

This thread actualy inspired me to go refresh him up as a chalenger. Now I have it availbe to correct my lab pets -- much better for those adopties
