This probably isn't that much of big deal to those who don't browse the neobards, but its still a bit...odd. On the neoboards its been discovered that typing "ooster" will cause a filter to replace it with an weird random phrase such as:
***Hey, come here quick!****
** Help Computer! **
** Integer Overflow **
** Hey! What do you do? **
** Parity Error!?!?! **
** CPU Overheated! Please bring icecubes! **
** Floating Point Error: The floating point floated away. **
** Alright, who pushed the pushed the button? **
Very weird. I can't think of any explanation for TNT to do that other than out of boredom and to incite widespread confusion.

Thats odd! I also find it really amusing.

I wonder why TNT did that.? Maybe they wanted to mess with people's minds!

Weird, ooster means eastern in Dutch. Have to wonder if it is slang for something in the Netherlands that we English-speaking folks aren't aware of. Because, I don't know if anyone has noticed but there are a lot of Hollanders who play Neo.

There was one with 'neonerds' a bit ago. I got creative and put it in my screenies. (look up Wolfos_42)

Don't I know about that one! I tried typing 40+ and kept getting an unacceptable language message. Finally, my daughter told me that it meant "hot" in chat speak. Silly me, I was trying to tell someone my age!

How about that?! Finally, I made it to "Hot"!

Wonder if "darn near 50" means anything in chat speak?

I had the same sort of thing with my HTML for Shardana's pet page.
She gained 5 HP, so in her little table I put, unsurprisingly, +5 hit points.
...It took me looking through it twice to realise what was wrong.

I'm dutch, but I don't see anything wrong with the word ooster...
eastern = oosters in dutch, so the word doesn't match completely either

It doesn't work anymore, it's replaced with -blocked-

I remember when "ong" was blocked a while ago.
People felt sorry for people in Hong-Kong....

"H-blocked--K-blocked-"

The oddest things get blocked! I was reading the boards last night when the whole someone tried to type the word rooster and it kept changing. Rooster is a bad word? The really odd thing was that people were typing another word for a male chicken and that word was not being blocked.
I don't remember the ong being blocked, but I never type that ... I do remember ne being blocked and never knew why. Don't know if it still is .. there were some people from Japan who were very unamused by that block.
hp was blocked, and for awhile I think hit point was blocked. That I really don't get. Is it still?
Has anyone figured out yet why flannel is a bad word? Borovan said to never type that, that you'd be frozen instantly. I'm not about to try it (don't know if he was joking or not).
1lewysgal, do let me know if there's a "chatspeak" for darn near 50!
