15th November - Neopets is 5!
It has been five whole years since Neopets was first launched back in 1999. Thank you to everyone for supporting us and helping us become what we are today!
The Bakery is selling slices of Neopets Birthday Cake and it is also being given out as a random event so you can share in the festivities.
Captain Threelegs will be giving FREE training to EVERY species all day today at his Swashbuckling Academy.
If you are planning a party you should be sure to have some of these tasty party snacks on hand. The Food Shop has bowls of Chokato Chips, Crudites, Cheesy Onion Sticks and Carnapepper Finger Sandwiches for you to enjoy.
As you may have noticed, the sidebar looks a little different today
Every year on our birthday and your birthday the sidebar will change to this new festive version - yay!
It seems even inside the Thieves' Camp birthday celebrations are underway in the latest Caption Contest.
As well as the slices of birthday cake, the Bakery has just finished baking some deluxe individual sized cakes for you to enjoy.
There are some new Shopkeepers to choose from featuring Neopets who seem to be enjoying the birthday festivities!
If you are lucky, you may get hold of one of these special Birthday Goodie Bags. Each one contains a different balloon, party blower and hat!
We have a new Story Telling Competition for you to test your creative skills with...
"The Happiness Faerie?" Rory asked, raising his eyebrow almost comically. He then looked at his sister, who shrugged. "Never heard of that faerie before..."

Today's Pet Spotlight award has been given to a Striped JubJub called SpongeHead. Congratulations!

It doesn't say they're in the toy shop...but the image is a link to the shop, so one can only assume they'll be selling them there.
