New toolbars and mozilla/firefox interaction

I've been noticing that new neopets sidebars crash my Mozilla, so I'm wondering...

I use Mozilla Firefox and the new toolbars did crash it but on Halloween someone on PPT posted a solution to the problem.

Go into Tools, then Adblock, then Preferences, then Adblock Options, then unclick Adblock Obj-Tabs. Now it doesn't crash anymore. If you are using adblock then maybe this solution will work for you as well.

i've had no problem with neopets toolbars and firefox, no problem at all, with either 1.0 or previous. no problems with mozilla, either. (shrug)

I use Firefox 1.0. Yesterday it kept crashing the second I got to the Neopets site but I figured out with some help on the chat boards that the reason for that was the firefox plugin "AdBlock". As soon as I uninstalled it Neopets worked again for me. Kinda sad because I installed it for the sole purpose to block them annoying Neopets ad banners.... So I will see what I can do with the help mentioned above to get it running again.

Oh so I voted I use Firefox and it doesn't crash, since it was Adblock that crashed it.

I actually followed calvinorion's advice and got it to work with Adblock still installed ... Mods; feel free to lock this topic.
