The glitch that zeroed bank balances

A while ago, some people said that when they tried to do anything with their bank accounts, it set their balance to zero NP. I was wondering, did those people get their NP back? Because it just happened to a friend of mine, and I'd like to be able to reassure her.

i do not have a direct account of a successful attempt but what i heard was that someone who lost 40m in a "np pool reset" glitch got his back after he emailed support. i heard this from another person who encountered a similar glitch and similarly reassured. however, TNT normally do not return glitched item...and i take that to include np.

I lost a Greater Healing Scroll yesterday after I auctioned it and no one bid, I didn't get the scroll back so I neomailed TNT and all that work gone

There was a glitch back when Meridell was discovered that zeroed bank balances, said you had no pets, and did other stuff.

When it was fixed, all the stuff reappeared.

Maybe it was the same case yesterday.

To be honest, I haven't heard any reports of this glitch. Maybe someone had access to your account?

I first heard about the glitch here. There was a thread on it a while back. Someone tried to deposit or withdraw (can't remember which) and their bank balance zeroed. My friend tried to withdraw 2k from her 30k bank balance, and it zeroed. She definitely wasn't hacked.
