I highly doubt anyone from the staff copied the idea of the Techo from the Pokemon Treeco. I didn't even know Treeco was created at the same time as Pikachu and the original 150, and I was a Pokemon freak (about 5 years ago).

Well, if they did go to court, Neopets would probbaly lose since the Pokemon were copyrighted in 1995

I really,really dont think thats worth going to court over. They look alike,big deal. A million Anime characters look alike,so..

there would be no proof of them (tnt) knowing, and copying them. and furthermore, if i create a new thing and call it a 'cow' and it looks almost like a 'kau' and/or a 'milktank' will they sue me? cows look like cows, geckos look like geckos. end of story. there is no proof at all that tnt would have known about treecko, unless they somehow have a secret base in japan (where pokemon was originally created) and sent a secret neopets spy to purposely copy pokemon for neopets, and hope to never ever to be caught.

this was not just directed to you oka, but just debating over the fact of how it would even come up. now can we please get to some more UNREALESED stuff?

The only similarity between the Treeko and Techo is the eyes, besides that they really don't resemble eachother at all, besides Techo desighn runs circles arounf the Treeko.
