I'm hoping that the fact that they're even considering bringing the GC back is because they're planning on putting more restrictions on it. I'm hoping that it'll be a neopet discussion board instead of an "Anything Goes" board. I've been hanging out at the help chat to talk about neopets but people there are incredibly uptight. Their idea of "spam" is a bit...broad. Sure, there are more slightly intelligent people there (compared to the other boards), but many people will report you for simply annoying them or because they think you need an "attitude adjustment".

That's what I said: I bought it from the Hidden Tower for 110k instead of out of the shops for 70k because I wanted the avatar, and I didn't even get the avatar. What a rip-off...


I don't get it. could someone confirm that the tombola guy gives the avatar? I don't want to waste my money and not get the av

I've heard that you do get the avatar, but there isn't a message on the page or a pop-up. You have to check your avatar list in the Neoboard Chat Preferences and it should be there.

That's how it happened for me. A few months ago, I bought a baby paint brush and freaked when it didn't show that I'd gotten the avatar. But when I looked in the chat preferences, it was there.

It's all a plot, y'see? They said they'd bring it back to get the stupid GCer's hopes up, but when they come crashing down when they see it's not there, they quit Neopets, thus freeing the world from the evil clutches of idiots! ^__^

I'm sorry about that Moogum. I was scared that I didn't get it either, but the av did turn up in my preferences.
