Its the same with almost all the quests, they all ask for something ridiculous.

Letsee

Esgophagor: Either very cheap spooky foods or very expensive. (Eliv Thade Shtuff, sometimes unbuyable)

Brain Tree: Two of the above!!! :o

Kitchen Quest: I think he'll ask for almost any edible item... but he's pretty expensive too

Snow Faerie: Chocolates, Battle Items, Icy Foods, Neggs... ... ...

Once you think about it, Taelia is only like the second expensive quest...

Talia says: Hi, I'm too poor to go buy these items, but I really don't care if you go broke! Can you go buy them for me *bats eyelashes* pretty pleeease?* (and be quick about it) *she thinks to herself*

The first two times I tried after the avatar came out, the quests were over 20K, so I waited until the next day. The third time I tried, she asked for four items, and just the first item by itself was 48K on the Shop Wizard...!!! :o (I don't remember what it was.) Finally tried again a few days ago and did a quest that cost about 13K. I thought that was still ridiculous, but at least it was less than my previous tries!!

But think about it, if TNT made snowfaerie quests easier, it would make all the rare items she usually ask for useless, and your hard restocking will be wasted, because nobody needs that item.

Even if it wont upset the econemy in some way, TNT will probably put a limit on it, like 3 quests/day or something. TNT doesnt want the quests to be a take and take thing. Or else it'll be too easy, which means everyone will have cool weapons sooner or later, which means the war oppoments will be harder, which means the new players arent being treated fair. Well, worse than they already are...

At the start of the war, I threw a bunch of items in my SDB and just yesterday took them out to price them. The green grassy cone that I picked up in someone's shop for about 900 just sold for 19,500. The lemon bonbons that I bought for 9,000 are now 45K. Just about every piece of chocolate or bakery items that I put in my shop yesterday had gone up at least 4 times what it was going for before the war.

So, I don't think that it is Taelia asking for more expensive items. It is just that the stuff that used to be reasonable is now very expensive. And, will probably drop in price once most people get their av's.

And, so far, since her unfreezing, I have gotten 4 quests--all under 2500 nps (my max to spend on her)--so it is do-able. It might just take a couple of days before you find one that is do-able.

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?

In my opinion, do the snow faeries quest while yuo do your dailies, and if that day, it's not under your price range... just do it tomorrow. It saves a lot of time, and when you do complete it... it feels good! :)

Yeah you do just have to wait. I just got a quest from her where I spent 2050.
Results: 1543 np, magical snowball, avatar and cherry twist lollipop. (Worth a little under 1k) That's not exactly something to be excited about but hey, I make at least a liiittle profit.

Jack: Put it away son, it's not worth you getting beat again.
Will:You didn't beat me. You ignored the rules of engagement. In a fair fight, I'd kill you.
Jack:That's not much incentive for me to fight fair, then, is it?

LUckily enough the very first quest I tried for cost me a little under 14K, but i was lucky enough to get over 2K back in NP plus a couple of items and the avatar!.... Lucky I guess after I lost my internet connection and computer so i now only have access to the internet for a couple of hours each week!

I think the inflation is some conspiracy.A few months ago,a lupe trans potion was about 110k.Now it's 275-300k!Like thats not inflation enough. And with the war inflations still here,I'm afraid of anything you can buy.

The war probably upset the econemy a little, for example, during the war, everyone was all about fighting and hoarding weapons, and during the war, nobody wants anything BUT weapons. The expensive items pile up in the Trading Post, and eventually gets cheaper and cheaper... When the war is over, everything is back to "normal"

Thats my theory, or the whole thing could just be a big coincidence... *shrugs*
