Don't get disheartened, though. They do tend to read those things...it just takes a while.

Overinflation isn't necessarily a horrible thing.

They could easily get the prices of most items to go down very easily. All they need to do is make an avatar available for people that have 0 items in their inventory or their SDB. Not only is this an avatar that is actually easier for new users to get, but it will also flood the market with items people have been storing. Prices will go down, the Neopian market will be in chaos and it'll be time to start some new strategies.

Now that I think about it, it might be interesting to get the economy fresh like that.

People would then transfer items to secondry accounts and then neopets would have to make it part of the rules that you cant use multiple accounts to gain avatars.

As long as it is made a rule and clearly stated in the T&C instead of one of those rumour-rules I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Make a rule, let people know about it, and enforce it.
90% of the time they miss one of those key items right there.
