oh wow I really feel for you..

I had sloths 25% tax RE hit me twice in a week, I lost about 110K ..and if I look up my game scores, I get it listed in there as

Sloth's Invasion Tax : Beginner

I wonder how much you have to lose to become an advanced loser......grrrrr

the top 100 is the scariest thing Ive ever seen... this would represent the NP value of what they lost.. UGHH

hehe. I agree Quanda, but they should at least have a cap on the tax beast and sloth thing blah. I guess TNT should neomail you maybe a couple of days before trades up or something. I keep forgetting to check and Sloth zapped my Ferocious Negg to sludge

As pointed out, if there was a cap, the trophy list will be obsolete, and furthermore you can cap your own losses by not taking out so much np.

When he steals 300k from u, it hurts. I was holding onto the cash after my auction bid was unsucessful. The tax beast... Sucks. yes he does.

Maybe TNT should treansfer the $ for an unsucessful auction bid to the BANK instead of onto HAND. rite ? Heh

That would lead to... problems. Especially if you're one of those security-savvy elites. Most of the elites take out the amount of NP they wish to use for the day, and then withdraw 1np from the bank 20 times (i think). After that, you can't withdraw any more.

Image if your day's profits rested on one really expensive item... And all your NP was put into your bank XD

True true... I only keep about 100k or so out if I'm RSing... Chances are, nothing I get is much more than that.

After being bitten by all three of those nasty guys--Sloth, Skarl, and Mr. Beast--in a relatively short time period and losing about 200K in total to them, I have learned my lesson.

Like VirtualMetal, I don't keep out more than 100K at any one time. If I think I am going to need a lot that particular day and fear that I will go over the limit on bank withdrawals, I just don't withdraw from my till until it is needed. No limit on the number of withdrawals you can make from your till.

Man that sucks, but makes me want to share my pitiful story...
I'd been playing neo for a year or two when I found out about the Tax Beast (from some help site I guess) and I became terrified, I mean, I had like 50k whole neopoints!! (:P) So to this day, I never go more than maybe 3 clicks from the point where I have over 2k on hand, or have anything besides my tombola key ring and an omelette snack on hand. Everything else is kept in the bank, shop, or SDB. Yay for organization and paranoia.
