I sort of agree with the guide above... the numbers are mainly where I differ...

I think that for the first round you get the number of snowmen surrounded +1 catapults. Afterwards you get #snowmen catapults surrounded each round... That's my experience.

I've gotten 3k points :) And I must rescind my previous statement. Rotating is good, at least on the first half dozen or so levels (i really lost count of how many levels I got through).

My biggest tip: At the end of every round of attack, do not click continue right away. First you should take a moment to look at the left side of your defense (right isn't visible) and note any holes.

In the later levels it gets harder to fix your defense because you get the larger pieces more often (when what you want are the 1x2 pieces or just 1x1s). The cross takes up a lot of room, and by the end you've covered most of the screen with blocks, but with lots of little holes....

It's a fun game... 500 points = 1000 NP, very fast IMO.

This game is definitely growing on me. I definitely agree that before continuing you should look at your defenses. Sometimes that little edge will help you continue the game. :)

1 more quick tip- if you have snowmen close to the crevace (like only one or two blocks away) just restart til you get them further away- this will save you a LOT of headaches in the later levels...

Wow... these tips actually helped, I managed to get a score of 1208 first time.

Restarting until you're away from the crevice definately helps. I also made a big fortress, and then made a smaller one off that for a seperate snowman which was useful in a couple of rounds, because I wasn't able to fully fortify my main fortress.

Gone, forever.

I think there may have been a slight change to the game as of today - even when I had all five snowmen surrounded, and plenty of space and time, I only got three catapults per round.

Methinks perhaps they're trying to bring down the scores a bit.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm just hallucinating.

Another random tip: If you have quite a bit of space, but want more catapults per round, build blocks directly around(touching, or close to) some snowmen-it still counts as protecting a snowman!

I almost always get at least 600 np per game, which is not bad! Quite nice I would say. :)
