Hmmm. Well would this idea work: lab until pet has twice the HP of the highest level of a codestone training price band, then codestone until other stats are the same. Then lab again until Hp is twice the level of the next price band.
EG:
Normal training (assuming only codestones) would go something like this:
Raise level to 20
Raise attack/def/HP stats to 40.
Raise level to 40.
Raise stats to 80.
Raise level to 80.
Raise stats to 160 etc.
Lab enhanced training:
Raise level to 20.
Lab Hp until 40.
Codestone remaining stats (def/attack) to 40.
Codestone level to 40.
Lab Hp to 80.
Codestone def/attack to 80.
Codestone level to 80.
Lab Hp to 160 etc.
Keeping in mind that when Hp has reached required value attack should also be getting towards that value.
Or does the lab ray decrease level so much that the extra cost of training level would outweigh the benefit of free hp and reduced attack costs?
Anyway, could one not be sneaky and train level via deadly dice?
I'm coming to realise that I'm putting way too much analysis into this.
Maybe I should just get the lab ray and use it occasionally. So what if it turns out to be a waste.
END OF RANT.
