Ok, since I see that we can have threads like this, I may aswell ask what royal pet to get. I am in the direction towards a male pet. I also would like to ask what kind of name I should go for. I was thinking either TheodoreIV or ThedonIV, which one would fit better?



I really like the gelert, usul, and acara, (in that order), but the others are fine too if someone could persuade me to get them. Thanks.

Hmm... tough choice.

Royalboy Acara is all pimp with his spiffed up pose, though the Gelert has a sort of... "I'm a king and a jester!" look all in one, which is awesome. The Zafara seems a bit more modest, and unsure of himself... not good if you're going for those positive vibes. Yet, somehow, his painted smile is in good relations with today's world- that makes him cool in a modern sort of way. The Usul reminds me of Stephen King... which could really go either way.

I was looking for a pompous looking pet that *might* be sad because of the death of his first mistress, and the only one that he ever loves, and refuses to get re-married. But is pompous and snobbish like an arrogant king. I have a plan for this account. He would be the snobbish king, and my secondary pet would be a ghost pet, his mistress. That still haunts him in his sleep and late at night wanders the halls of his vast estate. She also scares him from remarrying by sweetly whispering into his ear about how his love for her should never die away.

IMO, the Acara looks like a snob, but he doesn't look sad at all... Then again you did say might be sad, so he could still work.

nice story idea, I would go for the gelert or the usul. The zafara doesn't look too much like a king (maybe because he has a hat instead of a crown) and the acara looks a bit too happy. The usul looks like he has authority with his 'hands on his hips' pose and I just like the gelert

Out of those four, I would personally go with the Royalboy Zafara. I personally think that the Royalboy Usul looks way to much like the Usukiboy Usul. The Royalboy Gelert on the other hand in my opinion is horrible, no 3d or anything different from the regular Gelert's pose. The Royalboy Acara on the othet hand I just hate, the pants and shirt he is wearing is horrible looking.

I just painted Xhiriko Royalboy a night ago, they are my personal favorite, go with them, they give the 'King Arthur' look, they look Royal perfectly, the Merdell Necklace and whatnot, the crown, the beard, the shirt and cape fit nicely. If you also wanted to look into the Royalgirl version, its quite nice to =)

The Royalboy Acara looks the snobbiest of them all, but he doesn't look like the kind of person *ahem* neopet that is sad about his wife's death. The gelert? Can you say yuck? It's wearing pink and sky blue x_x Which looks horrible with it's green skin...and the black hair doesn't quite do him any good either. The Royalboy Zafara is one of my favorites, but he looks more like a poet or something rather than a king, so probably no. The usul? He also has the "snobby look", but doesn't look "cheerful" like the Royalboy Acara. I'd say that's a pretty good choice.

So, for me it'd be either the Royalboy Acara or the Royalboy Usul.

Hmmm, that's an excellent idea for a story. I would go with either the Usul or the Gelert. Probably the Usul, because the Gelert seems to have a light side. So yeah, definetley the Usul. Plus, he looks more dignified than the Gelert, who is on all fours.

Im sort of borderline between getting the Usul, Acara, or wait for another good royal color to come out. I don't much like the royalboy kougra, don't know why, just dont. But there are a few poses that make me want to get the acara, but not fully want him.



How could you not love it? Thanks for all your help everyone. Narrowed it down to the Usul or the Acara.

Hmm... what about the wife, Knives? Do you know what kind of pet she is going to be yet? Just a ghost version of the royal pet or do you have a certain species in mind?

The acara, the usul looks, eh, strange. He also looks like he is wearing a wig. lol

I'm quite partial toawrds the acara, although I don't like very many of the royal pets. The acara may look snobby, but at least he doesn't look wierd like the gelert! They should NOT put clothes on a non-anthro pet!

Royalboy Gelert. They're my favorite royal pets. They're all like "dude I'm so pimpin'" and stuff. I can also see them looking sad, I can't really see the Acara being sad. The Zafara isn't really a king, more of a prince, and something's weird about the Usul that makes me not like it.
