Yeah and there's even referances to the Black Pearl along with a ship named the Black Pawkeet or something like that in the TCG.

If I were disney, I would sue neo out of every penny they have :K But I think the black pawkeet was around before the movie 0.0

So would I, lol. Disney wouldn't since they are friends though and have the theatre thing. Disney could have talked to neopets about this in the first place *guess.*

Well, the Pirates of the Carribean were around before the movie as well (it's based on an old ride at DisneyLand).

And there was a flash cartoon that has been around for EONS with some skull-captain threatening the ruler of Maraqua with the destruction of the city. And then it was destroyed. And that was out before the PotC movie was even a glint in the money-hungry owner of Disney.

Oh, also to elaborate on what I just said, I did a bit of research. The Pirates fo the Carribean ride opened in Disney Land in 1967. Making it a good 10 years older than Adam and Donna themselves =P
