This broken code appeared at the bottom of my page:

update pagestats2 set counter=counter+1000 where xdate=CURDATE() and lang='en' and country='GB' and gender='F' and agerange='19' and status='1'
insert into pagestats2 set counter=counter+1000, xdate=CURDATE(), lang='en', country='GB', gender='F', agerange='19', status='1'

Why is it sending information about my age, gender and country when i'm navigating the site?? Also I wonder what "status=1" means :/

Just annoyed me that this stuff even matters.

I'm guessing the status 1 thing might mean how many warnings you've gotten?
But that's just a guess. :roll:

I think status means either the months or years you have been to neopets.

But i may be wrong because i guess you have been on more.

No, I've never been warned, and my account is 51 months old.

NNN? What country is that? o_O

I got it at the beach a few hours ago. Perhaps it's just there to identify which parts of the site you can go to due to age?

What exactly is wrong with that? All it does is show information you put in yourself on the profile page... :roll:

I think it has to do with what ads you're shown...

They gear ads towards your age group and country

What I'm more curious about is the

counter=counter+1000

In programming, a counter is, well, something that counts. It's normally incremented by 1 (like if you're counting how many times something occurs).

Why would a counter be upped by 1000, though?

I often get this msg when I'm on looking up prices on shop wizard...that could be what the counter refers to (before you get shop wiz banned)

*shrugs* Perhaps that 1 is if you're active or frozen. Then to freeze you all they have to do is change that number to 0?

Me too, I do not mind it, but I still do not know if I was officially warned or not. Problem is, my mother language is Dutch, so I was answering a neomail from a friend instructing her how to solve a certain problem. Problem was, if I use the Dutch phrase for "you can", you get very foul language in English... which in Dutch just means you can. So "it" warned me that I could not use that kind of language, is this an automated reply or a real warning? I changed the mail afterwards and was able to send it by using other words, but I simply had overlooked the fact that some words that are perfectly normal in other languages can turn up as swear words in English...
Apart from that, I don't think I have ever received a warning, and I just don't know if this WAS an official warning or just an automated "Oi, watch your language there, punk" message.

Korbat lover. Always sees a tunnel at the end of those lights.

Erm, I'm not suggesting that they've made some sort of underhand gesture to find out my personal information. I'm well aware that I've given them the information myself. However, what I'm saying is that they're sending this information somewhere on every page, and I want to know why.
