I went to the kadoatery, and it says they've all been fed, but they're all still crying! Does anyone else see this too?

They don't like the dark poor little things

I've seen that before as well! I have no idea why it happens, but it always seems to occur at 12:00 NST. Perhaps something to do with it being midnight?

The description of a Kadoatie is.. "Kadoatie is what we like to call a pain in the neck. When it is bedtime and the lights go out, the Kadoatie cries continuously until you turn them back on. I hope you like to sleep with the lights on." Poor things, really

They cry from 12 am NST to either around 2 AM or 6 AM - I'm never up late enough to see.

when do they actually ask for food?

I'm pretty sure it's random. But I think they ask for food once a half hour or somewhere around there.

It used to restock every 30 mins NST but i think they changed it to make it slightly more random

so its probly harder then restocking?

It refreshes every 30-35 minutes, always on the minute (for example, the last one was 8:43:00 pm NST). They ask for a lot of common foods, so if you keep a bunch of normal old food shop stuff in your inventory, you can feed them pretty quickly. One of the addicted feeders has a good guide here with updated refresh times (when the author is online, anyway).

I managed to feed my first one a tongue with veggies, which my friend had sent me as a joke a few days before. Lucky!

do you get anything for feeding them, or just that they thank you?

You get a Thank You and a nice trophy on your lookup. If you manage to feed 75 of them, you will get the avatar too.
