I didn't see a topic about this, but I was wondering what everyone's opinion of it was. I know it's out of beta now, and I'm kind of tempted to sign up, but I don't know. :/

In my own opinion, there isn't much different about it, I don't think. It doesn't provide too much... or maybe I'm missing something.

That's what I thought, although that toolbar is pretty darn tempting o_o

The toolbar is downloadable for free, but to get it with the portal you have to pay. I've almost persuaded my teacher to sign up for it, just to see what it's like.

More Random Events? They better make them GOOD ones.....featheralley will probably get Neopets Premium if they have more battledome challengers.

I hate it. It's nothing special. The portal is a waste of space. I haven't seen a single random event since I have signed up.

It not worth the money. I had so much trouble downloading the tool bar on my computer, It was so new to the people at support that they did not know what to do either. The portal was not the great either. Not at all worth the money.

From everything I keep seeing and reading it really is not worth the money ... portal=homepage. Well, you probably already have one.

Toobar. Again, just about every ISP already has one, or you can d/l one from say, google, aol, etc. Yes, it shows pet stats, but you can just log in for that. I decided to try d/l the toolbar just to see? (very curious person here) - I couldn't get it to work right. My ISP is apparently very jealous - started getting all kinds of pop up messages that the toolbar wasn't compatible, then got a spybot warning - so away it went without my getting to try it out.

I don't know of anyone who's gotten really great re's - seems to be the occasional codestone, and if you have the premium, 1k a month.

Boy.. I must not be paying attention or something.. this is all news to me.

Anyways... don't see why anyone would want to pay money for a site that runs perfectly fine when ya know.. you're not paying anything for it. *shrugs*

You would think for the premium you'd get like, a pack of TCG cards or something or a newsletter or something better. It's overly expensive just like the magazine though, and it bothers me. Since there's a 15 day trial my boyfriend nudged me to try it out, I adore the portal since everything's right there, but I don't get neomail enough, and I doubt anyone's gonna mail me at mailto:meowth1982@neopets.com :/

Perfectly as in... you're getting everything already for free... so why pay.
Just for some toolbar and the chance of hopefully getting more random events which include the bad ones as well?

I can confirm I got a random event within the hour of signing up. (I think) But I forget what it was.

well, I already have the portal and toolbar but I got them for free. I was a alpha (or was it beta?) tester. I really don't think that it is worth it. Just save you money and play as a normal neopian.
