[mods, not sure if this is in the right topic, sorry if it's not!]
On ebay.co.uk there is a person selling a darigan techo and I was wondering how I report this to neopets. Whenever you report something they ask you for a username but the username of the seller does not exist. Can anyone tell me how I would go about reporting this? Thanks!

I'd suggest contacting Neo with the user name of the seller on Ebay.
They can get in touch with Ebay and Ebay can remove it for fear of Neos mighty legal team.

I put the username as 'unknown', there is a user called unknow but he hasn't been on for a long time and I explained in my message that I don't know their username so hopefully they won't freeze him lol

I'd always e-mail the seller first before any reporting is done. They might be doing it because they don't know it's against TOS. :/

I think that the fact that they refuse to give out their username or pets name means that they realise that this is against the rules! I feel sorry for anyone that purchases the pet cos chances are they are never going to receive it either because TNT have discovered the person or because this is all a scam.

Anyone who sells virtual site items, pets, np or accounts is breaking the rules of Neopets and eBay. And anyone who bids on any of those things will more than likely be frozen too - whether or not they win. I know someone who bid on np once, they said to see whether or not they would actually get them or if it was a scam. Well, they never found out - the auction was pulled and the person I knew was frozen for just placing a bid - frozen for scamming if I remember right. I don't have any contact with that person anymore.

When I see those, first of all they just make me so :x , cause it is so clearly written in the t&c to not do that. Then I report it to Neo (especially if they're dumb enough to put a username) and I report it to eBay, as these auctions violate their TOS.

You need to contact ebay directly. Neopets has its own keyword now, so it's not like they don't know it's popular. Things like this get taken down all the time and neopets will just have to contact ebay anyway. I'm not saying don't contact neopets, but you need to contact ebay as well.

It's my understanding that TNT monitors Ebay offerings very closely. I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. They'll deal with it in their own way. ;)

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

The transfer will be done through the site, neopets.com so there is no shipping cost but an MSN hotmail and a neopets.com account is REQUIRED otherwise we will not be able to transfer the pet.

Why only a HOTMAIL acct? Ive heard/read that hotmail is the easiest to hack for passwords, so I have a feeling this is much more than just an auction to transfer a pet. Besides, why would someone say "oh, heres my Darigan techo...$.99??? Thanks a LOT!"

.psh.

I once saw someone trying to sell they're 2 baby pets, the funny thing was that they wrote the username, so I reported it to tnt, and they got frozen.

And don't forget, when you sign up you check a box that you have read and agreed to the Neopets TOS. So they can't defend themslves with that
