If supporters donated money and items, would those go to warriors? Like, funds distributed for the purchase of weapons and healing items?

I doubt it would go directly to warrior players. I think it'd go to a virtual fund like when you donate to Tombola or the faeries/quests.

I highly doubt so. In fact, that has a nil chance of happening. It would be very unfair.

I wonder if this choice of Supporter or Warrior would at least keep the battledome from clogging up so much like last time, and the time before, etc etc.

Both sides' shields look nice, but I chose Maraquan Warrior.

Chibi_Longshot the Green Aisha
Hit Points : 156 / 156
Strength : EXCELLENT (54)
Defence : very heavy
Movement : EXCELLENT (53)
Intelligence : ULTIMATE GENIUS (188)

Again. Hopes for a decent labbing. I've been getting stat losses, lately.

It would be nice if we had to donate to people... :P I'd pick my brother and donate 1 million to him.
I wonder if the amount of money donated will affect the outcome, for example if one side donates more the opponents of the others are stronger?

I really hope that's the case. There's been a lot of talk on the bd board about getting the donations from supporters then selling them. :/

That's because nearly everyone on this site is out to exploit it in some way or form.

One potential way to avoid the donating/selling problem would simply be to have the items donated to a black hole that destroys them forever. That would also help to shore up the prices of BD items like snowballs and the like that everyone has a bazillion of, but that go for 1np each.

Oh, wouldn't that be an accident waiting to happen? :o I see lots of problems with that scenario. And foresee the various ways that people could multi-account just to abuse the system.

Hopefully, Jas and Shapu are correct and it is a black hole/virtual fund that the items go to.

One boy, I don't know what side he's on, but he's given me a Sword of Domar and a Owl Necklace. Wow. :)

I'm confused. How would you donate items?

There will probably be a line in the item's popup in your inventory that reads "donate to war effort."

Perhaps the games they speak of will either give you points or special war items that you can donate....I just cant' see them allowing donations of regular stuff because of the exploit...perhaps there will be war specific stuff that can be won when a pirate supporter plays a game against a maraquan supporter...THEN that item can be donated to the winning side...

However it works it looks like they put a lot of time into this one so it will probably be well thought out (crosses his fingers)

*has discovered nobody's discussing what side they joined anymore and will feel dorkish posting it out of the blue but yea* [=P I might be even more dorkish if it's all wrong ]

I joined the Maraquan Warriors...my bd set is horrible though...it would make people with my pet cry [if they were serious battlers]...thus, I have finished disturbing the balance...Thank you and have a battleful day =]

Ooh. It's pretty. :D See all the pretty presents? They can be yours if you vote for me. Yet, none of you know me. T_T How sad. There's no way to get the pretty presents then. :(
