it seems like:

as soon as i place something, 80-90% of things are solid just after ..

and ..

when the ID moves, about 80-90% of things are stolen again ..

(tho i admit i have not been in in several hours, just starting my day here)

Ugh. No matter what the rate/ratio/TNT-will-to-torture-us is in the end, it just sounds like I have to stop playing other games and help out more than I am.

The ID wants me to put my lamp on the 3rd floor but there's no place to put it. What do I do? He's a bad planner.

By "Open up in the middle of a minute", do you mean go from blurry to solid? Because that could happen in the middle of a minute. Here's why:

When something is stolen, it goes blury, and the spot is unavailable for a certain amount of time. After that time is up, though, it doesn't immediately go unblury. It will become solid again when someone does a furniture-placing move** on it.

If you know this trick, you can know to try some of the blurry ones, because there's a chance they're actually open, they just don't say it. I've gotten lots of benches and even a few tables this way.

** A furniture-placing move is when you click on the spot you're on or one of the 4 spots next to you. If you have furniture, it will try to place it there, if not, it still counts as a "furniture-placing move"

Edit: There is one bug about this, though: if you make a line solid, it doesn't immediately show up on your map. When you make any other move, though, it will. So if you're trying to place furniture on a blurry spot, here's the rule: If it gives you the "somebody's stolen" message, it's still closed, but if it just reloads the page without doing anything, it actually made the line solid, and you can hurry up and put your furniture there!

I think TNT is waiting for one individual to place a piece of furniture in each of the empty spaces. :P Ain't gonna be me, at this rate!

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but when I place furniture, the page that I end up on after I click the button to return to the RS ends with:

desert/ldp/repository.phtml?continue=1&ldp_sr_x15=303059

I wonder what it means? It could be random, but it could also be a countdown...

Already mentioned, yes. We think it's random (if not, it goes both up and down in a way we don't understand :P)

So a promo for him would be an ad for Ed the ID. That is odd.

I actually know a real ID. His name is Bruce, which would be a good name if the NP ID were a different species, but which one?

What were the numbers before? Does anyone remember? The 15 is the only constant, for now. I wonder if it was different before. That might be the countdown number...

The 15 was the same. The only other thing that stood out was that they were all 6 digits. Other than that they were all over the board, 900Ks, 500Ks, 800Ks, 400Ks...

I'm pretty sure they're just random. However, something did just occur to me: Even if they're random, they could still matter. Perhaps, just perhaps, they'll tell you what floor you need to go to without going to Ed!

We should make a list of what furniture we're carrying, what floor we have to go to, and what the number is.

(Just so this doesn't go on forever like some other things, though, we should stop at 20 or so, since that'll be enough to see if there's a pattern or not)
