I dont think they need to say they are sorry,but I don't take it as a joke at all. So maybe that means I'm stupid.

Sure, some people think it's annoying, or not a funny joke. There's nothing wrong with that; people have different senses of humor. You're not stupid if you don't appreciate your pet turning mutant. What IS stupid is people trying to get TNT to publicly apologize for something harmless just because they don't find it funny. See?

Its just a harmless joke that will last one day, just go along with it, the world will not end, and everything will be normal the day afterwards, making them apologise I think is getting a bit ridiculous though, as it is only a 24 hour effect.

yeah it was a joke alright but i feel sorry for the younger and inexperienced players who went to repaint their pets..

since this is something that has never happened before, even i was shocked when i first logged in. i thought someone messed up my account as i quickly proceeded to check my stuff. i can definitely understand the grouches going on...it would be better if they have some sort of notification in their news

Only reason I added the stupid remark. I took it the wrong was as I usually do when I'm all upset. No offence taken,hopefully none given. So lets just forget I even posted,okie dokie? Once something gets me going I have horrible attitude problems. Runs in the family.

i don't understand the grouches at all. i mean, all one had to do was look at the news. having a pet change color for ONE DAY doesn't affect the game at all!

i don't feel sorry for those players. if something doesn't seem right, there's a big fat NEWS sign on the sidebar to check. if you look at the sky and it doesn't look right, you check the tv news to see if there's a weather problem. if you walk into school and there are decorations everywhere, you stop and ask someone what's going on. inexperience is no excuse for being dumb. i understand asking on the boards, but abandoning? buying pbs or potions? BEFORE checking the news or asking questions on the boards? that's just pure stupidity.

and getting upset over this joke is getting upset over spilled milk. it'll get cleaned up soon and nothing got hurt, so who cares?

i truly am amazed that people are angry. there's nothing to be angry over! really--what does having a mutant pet for 24 hours change? nothing! i don't even see how it's annoying. how can it be annoying if it doesn't affect a damn thing?

ermm..nothing anywhere mentioned that the mutating is only for a day even though we all know it's mutant day from the news. naturally, players would feel angry if they thought the change was permanent and more so if some of them went all out to repaint their pet again.

yeah, who said that theyll last a day? maybe they forgot to change the name of the color that it was before (thats on your pet lookup/quick ref), but anyway if it lasts a week, THEN start panicking
