So i read them in the order on the card catalogue, not the order on the tablet?
If so, thats what I'm doing wrong

Thats right, you have to read in order of card catalog - glad you found out where you misunderstood :)

It might be a good idea to actually mention this in the round up on the first page. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had problems because it doesn't say this small bit

whew..i finished my deciphering..took me one try..but with lots of patience and caution..took me like 2 hours plus.. I did almost not want to click on the last scroll in case i missed something and had to start over again..held my breath..but i got it.

I know what you mean. What's worse for me is when I did click it, nothing new happened.... of course I'd put the wrong symbol from my tablet in next to one of the things (always helps to get that right), so I only have myself to blame for that. :)

But it's such a relief when you do get the sharp eye message... just as it was when I got the light (I swear I sat in that room for a half hour with that rainbow shining... almost got sunburn... just didn't want to leave :P).

Now to get a bite to eat (I'm not going for Death by LDP), clear the eyes and start tyring to figure out the sharp eye thing.

Much thankings to those who've helped us get this far!

well, it's relief and torture, you've finished the earlier part but now you're stuck again..

Has anyone gone back to their temple room and checked to see if their lighting pattern might be different somehow ??

There's nothing here! Whatever you were looking for seems to have vanished with the rest of Sakhmet City!

I believe people did this already, sadly enough, without any change in the light pattern...

Yes, I returned this morning at my prescribed "light time" 8am....no changes from prior.

Sorry but this princess is probably out of the picture - a quote from the Neopian Times Editorial:

Q. In the comic Princess Amira is ruling the lost desert. I thought that princess Vyssa was ruling the lost desert.

A. We decided to change it as we didn't want another Usul being the main character. As it turns out Princess Amira was touring the desert when her father was murdered, Princess Vyssa was ruling in her absence, but handed the reins back over to her elder sister once she returned.

Hello all. Been lurking here since the beginning of the Lost Desert Plot and finally found a need to post. I know you all, but you don't know me. ;)

Anyway, I've just finished my third unsuccessful circuit of my scrolls and as much as I like trudging down to the catacombs I think I should seek professional help. Eh, but I'll settle for you folks. LOL

First the necessary screenie info:

http://www.teamelitepaintball.com/LDP/

This is what I've read in this order:

Yellow FER in Sakhmetian Special Collections, Scamander room (1st floor)
Yellow SET in Uncategorized Archives, Group 3 (1st floor)
Yellow NEM in Inorganic Chemistry (1st floor)
Yellow KAR in Dormakilian Scrolls (3rd Floor)
Red KAR in Civil Records Standard Reference, Onyx Room (1st floor)
Red SET in Sakhmetian Archives, Room 112 (1st floor)
Red FER in Central Index Hall North, Section Zeta (1st floor)
Red BEN in The Catacombs, Section Dirt (Basement)
Blue SET in The Catacombs, Section Dust (Basement)
Blue SET reread previous scroll
Blue KHA in Special Arts Collection, Finger Painting (2nd floor)
Blue LAT in Lost Desert Literature (commentaries) (4th floor)

Since I am not getting the "Sharp eyes" comment, I assume I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone tell me the error of my ways?

EDIT: Caught up with posts and I'm going by tablet order not catalog order. Sorry for bothering you.

i was just catching up befor ei went to bed since this dang plot had my attention all nigt last nite and you posted that dirtside *cries*

but does that mean we need to find something now or are we waiting only a short time for the next clue, praps when the news, mystery pic etc are released tonight? or maybe just a day or two rather than the weeks we have waited recently?

incidentally i have played most of the non flash games to see if any more clues came fomr them and come up with nothing.

maybe a short nap.........

It's difficult to be certain without seeing the source code for your lights but it looks to me that you have 2 blanks at the beginning. If that's the case then the first symbol used would be the SET on Row 1 of your tablet not the Fer you're starting with now.
