Well another problem is that I'm part of council in my guild and sometimes instad of the members in the guild neomailing me they like to know my sn so then i post it in the open blog spot. So i guess thats a problem also.

Well, the obvious choice would be not to go on her account in the first place... o_O

See, but I do that because when someone IM's me with anything like that I laugh say "Whatever..." and block them. ::)

Well, no one bothers me, as I don't go on aim that much anymore (say once a month?)

Besides, its not like I have anything of value on my account.

I have to agree. You were being set up. And, my guess is that she was going to report you for asking for her password--which is against the rules and can definitely get you frozen.

A close friend fell for something similar to that when she was a new user. She saw a chat board saying this guy was going on vacation and needed a neositter and to aim him about it. She did and agreed to take care of his account and said she needed his password in order to do so. He then threatened to report her for asking for his password unless she gave him all of her neopoints. Luckily, she had never given him her user name and she immediately blocked him on aim.

My advice: If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

Oh, don't feel that way. Many of us have fallen for things. I had the sweetest thing ever trick me into lowering the price of one of my unreleased plushies--because :battar:

that was all the money she had *sob*, then seconds later she turned around and put it on the shop wiz for twice what she paid me for it. And, I really thought I was alert to scammers. Some of them are just dripping of sugary sweetness, you know?

Yep dont feel too bad ive fallen for scams. A few years back we're talking about 2001 now I used to always fall for "raffles" and buy lots of tickets to win a paint brush lol

Yes she seemed so nice, and she even gave me the pass to her account, and I thought that she was for real, but now she says that I stole the nps from her account -sigh-

Well, as long as she didn't know your username on Neo, she can't report you for anything. My guess is that she was going to try to blackmail you into giving her things (like that guy did to my friend) in exchange for not reporting you.

Best thing to do is to block her on your aim account, if you haven't already done so.
