Obviously, people assumed that each team would get a fair chance to get their points.
Well, when war came, the thieves got ripped off.
If I had been told beforehand that Hannah's Team was going to have a much easier time getting points, I would have definitely joined them.
So why should we get better prizes? Well, because it was much harder for us to get our points.
Not to mention the points-per-person ratio of the Thieves was higher than Hannahs.
No, it wasn't fair, and like I said, I would've gladly joined Hannahs Team if I knew that was going to happen.
Don't call something illogical just because you don't agree with it.

I thought in the last round, they made it so the theives' enemies about 2-5 difficulties easier than the ones on Hanna's side... :thinking:

No, instead of three new enemies, we got 2.
One was a difficulty 15 and the other was a difficulty 80.

Still enough to even the score against Hannah's side. You claim that the average Points Per Average was better for the theives, and that may be true, however, you shouldn't act like Hannah's side won effortlessly! You think I got my 250 without any effort? I know you guys worked hard, but don't act like our side won without even trying! The prizes should be the same, however, with higher scores more theives will get more of the good ones.

I'm not saying you guys didn't work for your points, it's just that you had at least twice the people we did and had more challengers.

You guys got the same amount, save one really hard opponent. If yuo guys got higher point totals, then you'll get the higher level prizes anyways, so why bother making them better?

No, we didn't get the same thing as you.
You guys got new 1st, 2nd, and 3rd waves.
We only got two new challengers, like I said, a difficulty 15 and a difficulty 80.
I'm just saying we should get some compensation because you guys had more opportunities to get points.

But that's like making it pointless to let us join Hannah's side. Meridell vs. Darigan had the same prizes, even though that war was CLEARLY fixed!

Of course that war was, you couldn't even choose sides. Neopian wars are turning into a rigging, all the wars always have the good guys win. Can't Neopets do something DIFFERENT for once?

They didn't get the same prizes.
I think the Darigan Team (From the 1st Meridell Vs. Darigan War) got worse prizes than the Meridell Team.
Anyway, like I said, if I knew the Thieves Side wasn't even going to get a fair chance at points, I wouldn't have joined.

You COULD choose sides in that war, actually. However, when Meridell wa winning, they let you swap sides if you joined Meridell, garunteeing Darigan side's victory.

Oh, and darigan DID get good prizes. Their best prizes came at an ealier level (like the elemental heads), then the Meridell side, who's only good weapon was the Castle defender weapons. I say it was even.

Darigan did NOT get good prizes. meridell's 5000-9999 point people got Lisha's wand(6 icons or make an ultranova)...what did Darigan's 5000-9999 get? Zombie Hatchet...7 or 8 icons...whoo. -.-

Meridell 10+ pointers got Jaren's sword/ shield, Skarl's amulet and Septer...defenders sword(which was great) and shield.

Jersans sword compares to Darigan General's sword and tail armor....Jeran's prizes were better. Skarl's weapons compare to Elemental...Skarl got a full Dark blocker, and a full 10 icons weapon thatd efended icons. Skarl had the better.
Defenders weapons compare to Darigan weapons, and Darigan beats him out soundly. Though dfender got a t-tear.

Many on Darigan side got inthe 5000-9999 range, so really, Darigan got the worst, overall. Elemental weapons weren't given until 20k points or more. Not many could get points that high back then.

On theieves side...you guys do know why you only got two new challangers over 3 like Hannah's side right? because wave one were cleared out. TNT kept to the plot so naturally, Flea ridden snowbeast couldn't come back. The got rid of poison fromt hat Kyrii, so it was more even then you're making it sound. Not fully even but at least 90% even. Both side had the chance of 300 points or so when poison was in wave 1.

Side wars are always gonna be rigged, but really, sides didn't matter this war...we never fought each other, unlike meridell vs darigan war.

I got over 10 points in the meridell war and I got NO prize. Anyways, you'd think we'd get points for beating other neopets on the opposite side, but I guess it won't work that way. POssibly because the theives would beat up on all the 5-point hannah's side pets and rack up their score.

Yes, we are still finalising what the prizes will be, but they should be given out towards the end of this week.

Who writes the plot then eh ?? Neopets could have full well had Armin and Hannah and the Snow Beasts crash through the roof of the caves while still fighting and have the Snow Beasts trapped behind a sheet of ice or something. When the bringer summoned his forces he could have created a surge of energy that cracked the ice allowing the Snow Beasts to break through and attack Hannah. Hannah's side could have fought the Snow Beasts and the Thieves while the Thieves could have fought the Skeletons and the Snow Beasts

And to the post a page back saying the challengers were there for days - Bull. The Skeith Soldiers and Eyrie Guards first two waves were up for less than a day. The third wave the skeiths were up for about 2 days and the eyries were up for about a week. Maxing on the Eyries didn't take long for me back then but in no way did I get a chance to max on the Skeiths
