Either there's one very persistant restocker out there on Premium, or the Autobuyers are managing to stack up all the good items.

What difference would being on Premium make?

Premium internet.
Makes internet 7 times faster, and I think cause you are paying neo, they make neo faster for you.

I don't have the Neo dial-up for Premium - I know it's cheaper, but I don't like the company's privacy policy (not Neo, the ISP), plus I couldn't be bothered to have to try to change out my ISP, email, etc. But I don't know anyone who does have the Premium ISP who has any faster of a connection - it is dial-up after all. No matter what accelerator it has, it can't possibly compare to good DSL or Cable, not to mention T-1.

There was an instance where all the shops had really great items, but no one could buy anything - yet the high rarity items were disappearing. There was then alot of people frozen for using ab'ers. Could this possibly have been another "sting" sort of thing? I don't rs - no point on slow dial up, but I do remember that day, just from reading others posting on the boards (I do love to lurk), and all the honest rs'ers were having absolute fits because they couldn't buy anything, couldn't even click on an item, yet watching things disappear.

I wouldn't actually mind or be surprised if Neo didn't from time to time do something like this - fully stock shops with rare/ub type items then not let anyone buy anything (by honest means - clicking on item, getting haggle, etc.) - and seeing who IS somehow bypassing the fact that the items cannot be gotten. That would be a pretty surefire way of finding the ab'ers. Better than the system now anyway, where if someone just happens to be really good at rs'ing, they end up frozen for using an ab, just because they are on a fast connection and savvy at knowing what to rs.

Well, when I said premium I meant Premium Neopets, since they block out all ads altogether, but I guess that anyone who uses Firefox can do the same.

Maybe you're right. This could just be a type of test to weed out ABers. Very good idea, but it makes playing on the site a real pain in the donkey.

Whatever is happening with all of the shops is really annoying. I'm not that great at restocking yet, but I could actually have a good turnout tonight if the haggle page would actually load... :x

I'm on premium neopets and I couldn't buy either, so I had to watch all those profitable bakery items just sit there....

Let's extend the quote box shall we :P I was just under the impression that Premium members surfed the site at faster speeds than non-Premium members. It would make sense I believed that you payed for Premium and got a better experience.

Oh well, has anyone heard of any mass freezings yet? Anything going down?
