That's the guy from my guild that keeps insane amounts of data from various parts of neopets.

Sum up the NP won (not including items), divide by 1454, and then subtract 200, and you get the -23.93 average.

Can I please have a link to the place where he keeps all that info? To me, it looks like a gold mine!

I'd be interested in stats he has of wheel of knowledge. I stopped playing it because I felt that I was coming out behind.

That is what I recall also. However, I wonder this: Did we even get that chance at it for 100 nps because the site went down right after that was announced?

However, I know for a fact that it was 200 nps yesterday when I played it--I remember it because I was grumbling about whether it was worth the 200 nps I plunked down every few hours to get that elusive avatar.

I noticed that a while ago...

I thought the prizes DEFLATED! When it was first released, it cost 200nps, then they bumped it up to 400. Now its 300... Is it just me?

I think a lot of people's memory of starting price has to do with when THEY started playing Neopets

I started playing Neopets sometime in January 2004, and even though I was a newbie, I distinctly remember it being only 200NP. not that an extra 100np is going to break me, but I'm just wondering what the point of raising the price was.

I played Buried Treasure since the day it was released, and believe me when I say it was 200 Neopoints, not 300. Otherwise I start with dementia at the age of 21 years.

I've also been playing since it was released, and it's always been 200NP. They changed it to just 100NP for a while around Neopets' last birthday, then put it back up to 200 again afterwards, and raised it to 300 last week.

From the Nov. 15 news:

A go on Treasure of the Black Pawkeet is free for the remainder of today, and it's only 100 NP a play for the rest of the month!
