This guy is too hard! I can do a max. of 200 damage with SOS, HP, and Drain Life on the first turn, but end up frozen and/or sick in the process.

Learn Burrow and Sink. They'll help you out.

I do have Sink and Burrow. They don't block frozeness and sickness. I can't think of a better way to deal more damage to him rather than Drain Life.

I wish I had Berserk. It's kinda hard to get it when the lab decides that I should lose 6 levels in 3 days and Deadly Dice decides that I should lose another 2 on top of the 6 already lost.

You can always try frost cannons as well...but they can get pricey.
