As you can see, I really and truely hate them. I reckon that Doug is leading Neopets into a hole it'll never be able to climb out of. They're building up their own apocalyspse with these ads, they really are.

If I were to choosen between paying to play and the ads, I'll take the latter anyday.

Exactly. I dont think that even my Neo addiction would make me pay, i'd rather quit. I'm quite happy to suffer the ads if it keeps the site free.

I'm guessing the two people that voted yes were just joking. I don't know how ANYONE could tolerate another ad asking if you wanted to find your highschool classmates. -__-

Ok, I would accept the banners if they were about stuff WE the players would be intrested in. Or if they were ones like hit the turtle or something. Otherwise I think they're starting to write the end.

I hate them. They just seem so out of place on Neopets. Who is Doug, by the way?

Okay really, Doug is like the Head Honcho of Neopets. He owns it and is in charge of all the legal, staffing and money issues. Adam and Donna are like the creative owners of Neopets. Whilst they get to shape the site, they have no control over ads, staff, etc. Or very little control in any case.

So it was Doug's choice to put these damn ads onto Neo in the first place.

I can deal with the top ads. But the bottom ones...they are SO annoying. I don't like scrolling down and having to see a big box ad.

I really hate the ads. Although I have a premium account and can't see them anymore, just the fact that they are there annoys me (I can see them when I'm on my side accounts). I don't think that the ads are really necessary (all the money coming from the merchandising, etc. would probably more than cover the costs of keeping the website up) and they take away from the site. I really don't know how anyone could actually like the ads being there...

The banner ads are really the bane of neopets ...
