I like it, I LOVE the name they decided on much better than Mok

I kinda like the new pet. He looks kinda like he's going to posess you with his eyes though. And Lutari? The name is kinda weird but it's growing on me. Reminds me of Atari.

Hehe, I said that when we first heard of the name change... only I thought it was actually Lutari that was the game system... some nice person turned me in the right direction! :}

real otters have those kinds of markings on their throats. And it's common in many species of animals to have their underparts or legs marked in different ways then their bodies.
Camoflauge related.

I absolutely adore otters, and love the Lutari. It's adorable

Right now I'm studying otters, and everytime I look at them they remind me of the lutari

As said, most of those examples are based of an existing... something. The Skeith is a dragon, though, not a dinosaur. It's pretty much identical to many gargoyles.

Chia, Acara, JubJub and Kiko are the onlhy ones you listed that aren't really anything. And Poogle I guess. Kacheeks always seemed to be doggish-foxy to me, but not as obvious as say the Wocky, or Tonu are a cat and a rhino.

Anyway, about the Lutari, I love them and will probably get one.

It is a pretty pet but i love otters anyway. I will stick with my one pet whatever. It the lab zaps him to a lutari that will be then only time i will have one.
At least the name is more in keeping with the other neo pet names. Mok just sounded wrong to me.

I don't like it for some reason.
I do like otters, but the Lutari just ...doesn't remind me of the cute things.

Lutari=Lutara, Lutara is otter in Hebrew, and it might be in more languges..

Thankfully its name was changed to Lutari. Mok happens to be the surname of one of the fiercest teachers I ever had. :roll:

Aisha - Cat
Poogle - Poodle
Skeith - Dinasaur
Wocky - Cat
Zafara - Kangaroo
Tonu - Rhino

Also, the Shoyru was another Create-a-Pet winner, which was based off a Pokemon, if you check out the original Shoyru's creator's website (look up the pet Shoyru).

And although the Chia is my favorite pet, frankly, it's just a blob with arms and legs, and a stupid patch of hair. Same for the JubJub, only it's a fuzzy ball.
