Just a random side comment but boiling eggs in water with tea leaves (generally speaking something more mild like Jasmine tea) and then adding soy sauce to the tea make some awesome tasting eggs! You have to crack the shell first and then place it in the pot of soy sauce/tea. If you dont crack the shell you do end up with a brownish egg with spindly patterns - or if the egg is cracked you get a nice brown mosaic effect, for those not interested in the edible part XD;

Mine came out as an accident. It's an Exploded Negg. I put it in the microwave, being a novice and naive chef, to let the paint dry more quickly. Well, about 40 secons into it I hear this *POP* and find that the negg had blown up completely. It's quite ingenius, in my opinion.

Me and my sister decided to try.....but it really didn't turn out the way we wanted it to.

So we decided to create a crime scene with the food coloring.

Just got 3rd too, yay One of my friends won 3rd also, and she complains about never winning so she's super excited. Except she's only entered once before so I don't know why she always complains about losing, heh!

My Negg is all planned out and I have my materials set out. I have my egg sitting in a cup so I can work on it, but something just hit me; how should it be set up to photograph? It'll look stupid if I just leave it in the cup, lol.

Anyone have an idea of how to make an egg stand for taking the picture? I guess a paper ring would be okay but it seems boring. Hmm, maybe setting it in grass or something?
