I am lucky enough to be the recipient of my family's lab pets and got an elephante from my daughter that was labbed plushie a few months back. I don't know if you are still able to get plushie from the lab ray, but she did a few months ago. She also got maraquan about a month ago (but, alas, refused to give me that kyrii, no matter how much I begged).

it's definately not a good idea to use the lab if you want to keep species. When i first got the lab i was hesitant to zap my pets because i wasn't sure if i wanted to change their species. But then i decided that there were plenty of good colours out there for different species and it would just take a matter of time before i got one that i liked. Plus it would be much easier to gain stats...it's hell for the levels though.

I started zapping my acara and right now she's a Maraquan Uni. i think its a cool colour so i'll leave her like that while i zap the others.



I also started zapping my kougra and he/she has turned into a few species but most of the time changes gender. Now he/she has turned back into a red kougra but i'm zapping till i get a cool colour. I've been lab ray zapping for over 2 years though so it takes time and luck to get the results you want.

I think the great thing about the lab is that if i ever get tired of my pet's species or colour i can just change it without having to spend ridiculous amounts on potions or pb's[/img]

I think since that 'Pwned' avatar, the percentage of getting a species change dropped

yea the lab rays are totaly random..ur better ff getting the brushees if ur pecky about the species..i have had a tonne of species changes as well as colour changes..good luck

I've heard of other people getting plushie from the lab ray, it might not be suposed to do it but it can do. It is though exceptionally rare. Baby can also happen, but again very rare and I have heard of one person getting pirate though that was a long time ago. I would love it if the lab could do all colours except royal (thus keeping that one special). I mean if it can do maraquan, darigan and grey, there's not much reason for it not to do plushie, baby and pirate. Well, I think anyways

The thing with lab rays that you have to most remember is that 9 out of 10 times it will do the exact opposite of what you want it to do!
