There's also a glitch somewhere in the system. I got a message about a challenge when I hadn't played any challenges for two days. So somewhere in the system the data isn't purging itself properly.

Forget the minimum score- I have a serious problem with the max score that they've instituted.

I'm good at Attack of the Marblemen- really good. I was having a good time doing world challanges and also keeping a 10000 bet going in the regular challenges.

The problem is you can't submit a score over 1000 pts in Marblemen or it gets "reviewed". I'm all for stopping cheaters but why can't my score count toward my challenge after it has been reviewed, several times now I've tied with 999 because we each stopped short of the review.

Its not as Big a problem with world challenge but it could be with other games :(.

I got two map pieces but it is quite hard. The whole idea of "wins in an hour" tests how quick you are, not how good you are at the game....which is odd.

They moved DoMII from Neopia Central to Tyrannia... Now I won't be able to complete the Neopia Central map and have to start a new map :roll:

I think it's based on skill in asome games and speed in others. I have won 15 pieces so far. Most of them are from getting the high score for that hour. and that is based totally on skill.

I rarely do anything but highest score -- I don't have the patience to sit and play a game over and over for a full hour. But I've found that the top people in the two games I focus on, Volcano Run and Whack-A-Kass, are winning based on skill, not speed. The cheaters used to come in and play a ton of thirty-second games and rack up wins that way, but now there's a minimum score required, so they can't.

The max score thing wasn't added for World Challenge -- each game has a limit (Volcano Run is 4500; Meepit Juice Break is 5500, for example). That's just the score TNT reviews everyone at because so many cheaters aim for higher using programs. If you want to win the World Challenge, you just have to get as close to that score as you can without going over. If you're the first to do so, no one else who achieves that score can push you out of the top scorer's position (for example, if I score 1181 in Whack-A-Kass but someone else has already scored that, they will stay as top scorer).

By the way, if you send a score and your told you've sent the max scores for the day, close the game window and re-load it, that fixed the problem when that happened to me. :)


Ya, cheaters on World challanges would definantly be annoying-I havn't seen anything suspicous when playing hasee bounce though, so all seems good.

The highest score thing is a nice touch, you don't need to start playing right at the start of the hour to get a map peice, just get a good score! Not that thats any easier or anything, but it does give more of a skill perspective.

The wins vs. loses has been changed to a single score rating that sums wins +1 against loses -1.

So a user can't spam crappy scores hoping to get a bunch of wins and not care about the loses anymore.

Wow, they made messed it up agian. They had tigoing so well, too.

The new scoring system is crap. If you get 3 wins and 3 losses, you have Zero points. If someone gets 1 win and zero losses, they have more points than you!!!!

Wow, way to make people waste their time TNT. You had almost all the bugs worked out with the new system that stopped cheaters, now, you Removed the scoring system up!!! GAH!!! :x :x :x :x :x

MattEdit: Language like that is not tolerated.

Okay, I do not even know how that is possible.

Person Y has won twice...
Person X has lost once...
No other games have been played...

And on top of that, Person X (Who lost) has gotten the highest score of the hour... Something's definitely gone wrong.

yeah. impossilbe.

though i noticed yesterday that a guy who had the highest score of the hour (knocking me off no less) had lost his only game of the hour
this was yesterday, after the five people minimum had been placed, and i only got my one pice (coming third, at... somthing in neopia central or the haunted woods o_O )

A couple of times, I've been one of the top two or three people and have gotten the highest score, but I've only gotten one picture piece instead of the two I should have earned. Most of the time it works okay, though.

I haven't run across this thing with the top scorer having lost their one game. That's weird.

well, im being crushed underfoot by people with scores twice mine.
wasnt even aware it was possible to get those kind of scores, but a cursery glance at the high score table says apparently so.
oh well, thats all the games im even faintly good at out the window.

Heh I finally found a game where the highest score wasn't too bad and yay for being top of the table, but of course there would be only 2 people playing anyway :/

Ah well knowing my luck when more people join they'll crush my score anyway - I am really not good at games, and I'm still not sure what I'm doing! :lol:
