I'll represent right below you, lol. Not quite that old, but not so far away... I'm 24.

Well, I'm 12, and my friends think I'm too old to be playing neopets!

I'm 27 and I play. The whole family here does:

me - 27
Tim - 26.5
Morgan - 7.5
Jasmine - 6
Robin - almost 4
Gwen - 2.5

It doesn't matter your age as long as you are having fun.

Seriously, there are many of us "old timers" who play on Neopets. To give you some idea, just say that I'm old enough to be Jasujo's mother, lol!

I've been a gamer all my life -- the games change as the technology changes. I started off as a pinball wizard, moved up to pool shark, watched the advent of video arcades (I blew much of my college grant money on those puppies!). I was the 1st person in my peer group to obtain a PC from a kind professor and quickly found pure joy in playing ASCII role-playing games. Does anyone remember Hack, ADOM, Nethack, etc.? And then the advent of color monitors opened the flood-gates to great PC games.

I love Neopets, and I don't think it's "weird" at all for older people to become Neopian citizens. My children are grown, my bills are paid, and I still manage to work and socialize in the "real" world. Believe it or not, I'm still the same old girl I've always been. Only the physical part changes, not the inside. And on occasion, I'm surprised by the older woman looking back at me in the mirror....

Well... okok... I'm really a hunchback and my master locks me in a bell tower and feeds me through a slot in the door...

He doesn't let me out.. and I have 6 inch toenails... thus I cannot walk... so I latch onto things with my teeth.

Lol. I'm half a year older and don't hesitate to bring it up whenever I need to. I've always liked younger guys more.

It always makes me laugh when some people are surprised older people play games like Neopets. It's like, they're not going to quit once they hit a certain age, are they? lol

She's alright, I never really liked her though. Left her guild after a couple of months because of her.

You know considering the subject of the thread probably wasn't told about the thread I don't think it's very fair to take a pop at her :/

Anyway I do find it funny when younger people go on about how "sad" it is for older people to be playing when the site was never intended for tweens originally anyway. Common knowledge that students have the most time on their hands anyway (mwahaha) and I intend to keep on playing neo while it's still fun

I think it's great that kids have parents that play the same game as them as it's quite unlikely to happen with most console games. I can't wait til my littlest bro is a bit older so I can show him the site, I think he'll love it

I'm 22, and I've answered the "old" question on Neo more times than I can remember.

Why do I play Neo? Well, I have back injuries that got worse with age(yep, that happens), and I can't get out much anymore. My little sis and an older friend introduced me to Neo, and it's now one of the many things that keeps me occupied during the day.

Oh, and one of my best Neofriends is in her 50's.

I'm 28. I love neopets because it ISN'T the news, or work, or bills, or the millions of other things that make up my life that will be waiting for me when I get ready to deal with them.

I'm 30 and i've been playing for 5 years now. I RESENT that old mark.
