I got terror as both a regular word and the one where it is spelled upside down and backwards ( I am too tired to remember the colors they where) and I didn't get the avatar. Also ended with a score of 3600ish and didn't get it.

Apparently a score of 3600+ is needed for the avatar.

Yup, I just got a 3666 and got the avatar. So 3600+ sounds about right.

Edit: And I just saw someone with a score of 3600 exact with the avatar, and someone who apparently got a 3598 but no avatar.

any tips ? mine is already at 100% but never exceed 3300 for some reason...

Just get a lot of broken and red robots, they give 100 and 20 points each (respectively).

I heard on the Neoboards that there's no point going into the final round if your score is less than 2500, and you have to have all three lives.

That doesn't make sense you would want to have all your lives when you go to the final round. Has anyone gotten the avatar yet???

It makes sense. Every life remaining at the end is 100 points bonus. You can't lose lives on the final level either. (unless I'm mistaken)

And yes, people have gotten the avatar, don'tcha read other peoples' posts?

I've gotten a 3600+ score before, but I'm too lazy to do it again.
