Is it just me, or is that a reference to The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, this (violent, probably not worksafe) flash? Or is there some other "Ultimate ___ of Ultimate Destiny" out there? I would be somewhat surprised that something that violent was randomly referenced in Neopets.

It's an exact reference i'm sure. neoets probably realized it was referencing the toon, seing as it's huge over the net now, but thought the pirate cave was too good NOT to put up. ;)

and the news only showcased the new neopet. darn. :(
