TNT should make an Account Frozen avatar and a NeoParadox avatar.
Then you get both avatars when they freeze your account :roflol:

if you get the avatar, how do you use it then?

Hence the paradox. (grin)

Yeah... TNT has a habit of not reading stuff people report, and just give you a warning.

I think this whole reporting system has gotten way out of hand on Neopets. It's often childish, retaliatory, or done out of jealousy. I have no problem at all with people reporting serious violations, such as true insults, real harrassment (not perceived slights), sexual innuendo, and attempts to gain a person's account. But most of the reporting I see being done is for small stuff -- newbie chain letters, double posting, not liking another person's opinion, etc. ad nauseum.

I agree to everything but newbie chain letters? I usually report chain letters, after all, they could be starting the chain letters, not copy+pasting someone else's.

Oh, the things people report... It's gotten to the point where, even if I see someone breaking the rules, I usually say something like "I'm not going to report you, but that's a reportable offense. I suggest you..." etc. Unless it's a serious violation like you mentioned.

I don't think I've ever reported a chain letter. Sure, they're annoying, and I hate seeing them as much as the next player. But what I have found to be real effective is sending the user a private Neomail, pointing out that 1) chain letters do not work; 2) they're against Chat Rules and Terms of Service Regulations; 3) they make some players get rather testy, which could lead to them reporting the offender. I almost always get back a nice reply, and have never seen the offender post another chain letter.... And I do keep an eye on the boards right after to ensure they aren't continuing to post them! :)

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

I have 5 warnings so far (and 3 of them are things I didn't even do). I reported a girl for her username because it had a religious name in it. Seeing as that's what TNT did to a previous account of mine for just that reason. So she and a lot of people reported me for "harassing" that religion.

Now, I know I didn't break any rules, but TNT usually doesn't read the reports, but will warn you if many people report you. So is this the *last* end of my Neopets career?

Well. I got one warning for "Posting off-site urls". When I hadn't. So I mailed support and Grace answered saying it was when I mentioned the word "Ebay". I'd been telling a friend to look for a guitar there since she wants a cheap one to learn on.

Then, a week or so later. I get frozen. Last thing I remember is posting "Right, I'm off guys. Ebay time!" On a message board.

I only got the mail telling me what the warning was for after I'd got frosen again. But even so, I don't call saying the word "ebay", "Posting an off-site url"

The reason when I log into that account say's "Continually breaking rules after warnings were given" So thats the only thing I've been warned for...

I'd make a chat account if I were you. I will give up the site probably if I never get my account back. Since I find it cruel to freeze me for that and people are getting away with talking about sex, religion, hacks and allsorts on the boards...

I don't report chain letters - I rarely report anything, there's quite enough people who seem to find much joy in "backseat modding" and just being mean reporting for just about anything.

What is good now, instead of telling someone that those chain letters don't work, is I just direct them to the Wall of Shame - they've updated it and there's a very clear paragraph about them. In fact the entire wall of shame is very good...the T&C should be so clear and have everything spelled out so well.
