Though I've found a few really good, interesting things in the magazine in general, I can't honestly say it was worth the price of the subscription - especially since I had to keep contacting Beckett for about 4 months to finally get the first issue (I subscribed the day! it came up on the site) - and I never got the "premiums" for the subscription.

I will say that they're very good at sending renewal forms/bills - that came really early. I don't think, though, that I'll be renewing the subscription. I personally don't need 5 pages of TCG cards shown - and the alleged follow up news/articles (like Neoschool) just don't seem to materialize.

That said, I haven't gotten the newest issue yet. Maybe Monday?

I know. It's $30 for 6 issues. -.-

If I wasn't such a collector nut, I definitely wouldn't get it. I figure it will be nice to look back at later when the site isn't around anymore, though. Not that I'm saying that is going to happen anytime soon, but you know what I mean. ;)

Ack! The "your" there makes me want to kill someone.. I think it might have been written by Donna because there are often spelling and grammatical errors in the news (which as far as I know, she writes), particularly where apostrophes are concerned. An awful lot of the Neogreetings have missing apostrophes too - it deeply upsets me, pedant that I am :P

It should be "10 Signs You're Addicted to Neopets". A typo is not explicitly when something is spelled wrong. Something is called a typo when it is typed wrong. Using one word where another should be used is a mistake in typing, therefore it is a typo.

Oh, I wasn't talking about the title. I was referring to the line "Is your homepage set on http://www.neopets.com?". Sorry for the confusion.

I made the same mistake. o_O

In this case, it's Beckett that's to go after - they are tough to deal with if you miss an issue - I know! I emailed, snail mailed, called numerous times and finally (I think I had the 3rd issue by then) got the first issue of the magazine - but no premiums that were promised.

Try 1-800-840-3137, that's a toll free number at Beckett and how I was able to finally get the issue I was missing.
