How do you know how many hits you have?

go to your own lookup, it might be hard to find depending on whether or not you have a backround, but it should show up as one of the stats

It doesn't say how many hits you have on your lookup. Maybe you just installed a counter at one time or another and forgot about it? That's not a regular feature, unless there's something in preferences that I've missed.

It really depends on where you use your computer from.
If it's a shared computer than I'd be very careful to alwasy log out.
However if it's your personal computer than I wouldn't worry. I never log out of mine because if someone else gained physical access to my computer without my explict knowledge and permission I would have much bigger problems than neopets
