I think the new "Shop" of offers looks better compared to Thinkaway Toys (and I mean on the outside.)

Oooooooohhhhhhhhhooooooooooohhhhooho!

You'll be able to buy McDonalds online! I hope they don't make it like the other shops...why don't they make it like a soup kitchen that you have to pay for, and you get to choose what to eat? And then there's another part where you can choose what to doyu with your food, the normal options (feed to pet, donate, discard, SDB)

I don't think we'll be able to buy McDonalds online. McDonalds are renewing their sponsorship with Neopets resulting in Neopets re-adding the shop on the Main Shops page. The whole shop is games, sponsor games. I don't recall ever buying anything there be it virtual or real.
