I was going to say, I got the Illusen RE that bumped my 2 NP up to 5K.

I've also found 10K on the floor.

Is it possible that you had bid on an auction that didn't win--or have a trade rejected? If not, my guess is that it is the PPL.

Actually, I have had a couple of random events that paid quite a bit more than that--some sort of Pteri flying overhead dropped somewhere between 5000 and 10,000 on my account once. And, twice Illusen has given me a little over 5000 each time.

That would be the Golden Pteri, I believe. And if I am correct I assume you have a Pteri.

The Golden Pteri doesn't give you any NP when you don't have a Pteri...

That 10,000+ NP increase has happened to me last week- it was the unreleased Cirrus PPL that did it. Basically what Senja said on the first page.

Yes, I have a Christmas Pteri--it was a nice surprise. Particularly since it happened right after I adopted him.

Same thing happened to us, all of a sudden we have a Baby Usul.. Thing is we didnt get Boochi as a challenger..... did you?

I sent in a bug report explaining what happened and asked them to take the extra neopoints they gave me, I'm still waiting for them to take the extra neopoints.

Sounds to me that instead of them giving you the 1,000 max neopoint payout they gave you neopoints matching the score you got. Not sure if this is just a glitch in their payout system or if this is something new for high pending scores.

oh that could be it then, it did seem to happen around the same time as i got the score awarded......*hurries off to file a report, before they freeze me for cheating!!*

Yeah that's why I sent in the bug report, figured if I brought it to their attention then they couldn't say I was taking advantage of a glitch.

Not if I get frozen for "Taking advantage of a glitch"....eek! I sent a bug report in anyway just to be on the safe side, they probably think Im a nutter now for complaining about having too many neopoints!
