This was an easy one, we're doing these sort of problems in math class now as a review. I'd give a hint, but I'm not good at giving hints that aren't obvious, so I'll allow someone else to give a hint. Rather than have me practically give the answer away. :oops:

Darnit, too late for a good trophy again. But yeah, it was surprising how easy it was. Hopefully people will make typos/accidently do their math wrong/forget something important. 0:) *shouldn't talk, as he's most likely the one who'd do that* :P

I think I got it. This was very easy. I probably wasn't even quick enough for a good prize. It only took me 4 guess and checks before I got the answer. If you know how many feet each has, its simple! ^_^

LupetyLupe, maybe you are only solving for one equation....

I'll reword the question for you:

TOTAL number of pets: Rukis + Yurbles = 141

total number of socks = 350

no. legs per pet (you decide)

Hope this helps :)

hint: there is only one mathematical answer...involving a set number of feet
