CrewWolf, I do the same exact thing! And it almost always works. I usually get a Neomail back from the offender, thanking me and telling me that they didn't know better.
I don't ever report for small stuff. I usually just ignore it, or send a polite Neomail. The only things I report are grossly offensive posts, obvious scams, and attempts to gain others' passwords. Life's too short to worry about the small stuff, IMHO.
