If you submit it, you shouldn't put text on it.. Just send in the plain picture. It's funny enouh as it is.

I don't have the plain pic... I saved it with text... well, i can make another one, but since i sent it and im lazy, thats it.

Because Armin was resized. He was made bigger making the image pixelly whereas Hannah was simply copied and pasted on.

Oy, I was so mad when I saw that stupid picture. I can't believe that... thing... got in. I've been submitting the piccy I made for Draik Day FOREVER and it hasn't been accepted! Okay, so it's not the greatest, as I made it quite a while ago (that's how long I've been trying). At least it's better then a C&P Armin with a unibrow. -_-;

I would really love to see what TNT says about the Bettles there.

Wow. I didn't realize how much I attacked the AG ^^;

I have to admit there are a lot of really REALLY good artists on Neo. There are several artists who have gotten like.. 2-3 AG trophies and can kick my smurf in drawing skills any old day. Its slightly unfair that way - but the only tip I give you, is you have to figure out the pattern as to what is pleasing to the eye (colouful pictures, actions, things that look like they can be used for caption contests perhaps?)

Of course, there are crappy pics. That was my assumption as well that it must be the work of some kid, and that they didn't have enough Hatic pictures to put in the AG. o_O I had done that picture featured a while ago, and kept on spamming them with it, so maybe Neo got tired with my spamming - who knows!

This IS the same AG that accepts two of the same pictures in one featured day. This has never happened to me, but I have a friend who won lots this way (once she got a snowickle and a feloreena on the same quiggle day for some picture that got in twice). Needless to say, things are unfair, but it can't be helped because of the sheer size of Neo and the number of people who submit to it :/

Remember the entry that was actually a wallpaper from the site? The grey faerie, I believe. Between that and the DOUBLE wins on some pictures ( can list them if you like) I do not think that they actually look at the art that are posted. I think that the art and caption contest winners are completely random. I may be wrong.

Oh man, that was just... I mean HELLO? Doesn't TNT LOOK at the images they released? I mean, if users can tell similarities like this, why can't they? I remember a C&P of the Acara from the Hikalakas. They just copied a piccy of him from a caption contest and slapped it on a RL photo of water. I e-mailed TNT about it (knowing they wouldn't do anything, but still) telling them about how it broke their speciffically stated Terms and Conditions. Nothing happened. Things like this make me so mad. I can't wait to get PSP. I'll get back at them all. The C&Per's of Neopia. THEY'LL SEE!!!

Arrghh!! Isn't that the Great Zoo herself on PPT XD *didn't know that before* (love your Hannah and Armin pic btw) Getting into the AG with the same pic is another story... I've never tried that, but maybe I should :/ I'd love to know how the prizes are distributed, all I ever get are petpet pbs or cheap petpets like tawreet(spl?)

:/ Yes, the good thing is that recently there hasn't been a lot of this, but there was a phase where people were entering pictures they entered LAST YEARS featured day (eg, skeith day) and getting in with them. I know Neo can't go through all the pictures, but at least they could check on featured days --;

XD; Hey, it wasn't until a friend told me that I had no clue you could get anything other than prizes under 100K. I believe I had this really weird streak where all I got were codestones and ghostkerchiefs *eyes my collection of them*

I'm guessing the double entries occured due to the new revamp of AG we had a while ago. The old layout lasted till last year's blumaroo day I believe, and it was hard for Neo to distinguish pics from the old gallery and the new one :/

I've got a ghostkerchief before as well!! That got me mad But normally I get petpet pbs or cheap pbs like gold or chekered :/

I've asked TNT again and again how they choose the gallery winners, and i've never been told.
Frankly, i've given up.
I've gotten in once, and then I got into a massive mail war... with a staff member, complete snarl actually... and I have a feeling thats stopped me from ever getting in again.
Especially when my art (not... to sound arrogant) is of a higher quality than what gets in.

The big name people (no offence to anyone here), aren't always the most deserving to get in.

Yeah, I agree with you, ahoteinrun. Normally I like most of the big artist's pictures and thought it was fair that they got it, but sometimes you keep seeing a name appear in the AG and their art aren't exactly what you'd call "impressive" :/ But since TNT obviously likes them, there's nothing we can do...

i think it CAN be helped. if WE can see the cut-and-pastes and the double postings, then TNT can hire someone that sees them too. if they can't hire competent staff, they should at least have a link on each picture, like they do on chat posts or pounded pets, to report pictures for breaking the rules.

c&ps are just plain plagarism, in my opinion. plagarism is never okay.
