I know there is cards but I do not think there is a plot, there is a video game coming soon.

There will be a plot related to this one. Maraqua will be rebuilt. It should happen in the next few months.

The video game has to do with Talador and the Darkest Faerie.

gosh, i feel like one of the few ppl that actually read the magazine. Isca is the key character. She has the power to see the future in her dreams. Lately though, it seems that her dreams are becokmoing nightmares......her sister...that other Aisha on one of the cards whos name i do not recall and I'm too lazy to move 2 feet to get out the magazine. She was banished from her family and sees the future in her NIGHTMARES, AAAH! Nereid is gonna have a huge part in this plot, obviously, she'll be helping rebuilding Maraqua. i got a Maraquan Moehog. From what it says on it, there won't be any Maraquan Skeiths...That Pirate Usul, Garin (any relation to Garon*says little prayer ot Garon*) is important as well

I think both Garin AND Isca are probably the main heroes of the plot. I'm thinking that Isca will probably see something bad and will ask her friend Garin to help her be the hero (with the Isca's Necklace card, I'm guessing she'll take him down to Maraqua to help present her case to the King). I dunno, I'm pretty excited for this plot... I think it has some great potential.

Also, is the Maraquan Moehog like the bonus card? I can't seem to find it listed at all on the Wizards page. What does it say about "no Maraquan Skeiths"? I've been waiting for one :( Oh well...

allright... this gave me the final idea. I guess the piratey charactor shown on this card is the key charactor. A special underwater goddess or some sort, isca, that maraquan aisha, puts this seaweed necklace around the pirate and shows him maraqua, and he, along with his gang defeat the pirates of the black pawkeet who were probably partly the ones responcible for maraquas destruction... or maybe the pirates are just out to do something bad, like most pirates :)

Yes, Pirates were definately responsible. If anyone can remember back when the destruction first happened, there was a flash thing with a skeletal pirate kiko on a ship. Can't remember the name... anyhow, that's been nearly 2 1/2 years now. Talk about delayed plotlines... :P

Hopefully the rebuilt Maraqua will be cool, because honestly, the first time around it was pretty bad.

And then the good piratey guy loses his necklace. It washes ashore on distant Roo Island, where the wealthy daughter of King Roo finds it. The evil, defeated pirates, whose cursed fate is tied to the necklace, become undead and attack the island from a zombie ship. Meanwhile, Johnny D- Err, Garin the Foolish will be captured and stuck in the prison for crimes he had comitted in the past. Co-starring Orlando Bloom as the blacksmith's apprentice.

I used to do Trading card games a longtime ago..... The Neopets TCG looks pretty good to play but I think the strategy is somewhat flawed and kind of monotonous compared to old faves like Yugioh, Pokemon, Digimon, Magic the Gathering, and all those good stuff! However, don't critisize me because it IS only 1 man's opinion!

lol let me quote what neo mag said :
king kepbeard :
aided by nereid, king kelpbeard led the survivors to safety and became a noble leader to the free people of maraqua. now he is leading them back to reclaim and rebuild their once great city

isca
ever since she can remember, isca has seen things in her dreams. these premonitions have helpe her friends and family avoid disaster, and earned her a few steadfast friends. lately, though, her dreams have become more frequent and she has a feeling something terrible is about to happen

garin
a childhood friend of isca's, garin has chosen the lucrative life of a pirate despite isca's warnings. now he spends his time travelling the open seas and using his remarkable sword skills to relieve wealthy merchants of their loot.

nereid
*i skipp this, its only said that she helped searching survivors of the whirpool in maraqua*

caylis
cast out from her family, caylis spends her time living amongst the ruins of maraqua. unlike here sister isca, caylis sees the future in her nightmares, and when she weeps, bad things seem to happen

because she's bornt like that doesnt mean she is evil and has to be casted out... poor aisha, dont blame her if she's grow up evil

goregas
this gigantic sea monster has a unique bond with isca. upon her call goregas will appear and do her bidding

captain scarblade
*not much info*

In every plot a certain type of faerie has a spotlight, have you noticed that? well, every recent plot, anyway. Battle for Meridell=Air Faerie, Curse of Maraqua=Nereid the Water Faerie, Return of Dr. Sloth=Happiness Faerie, Talador=Light and Dark Faeries Galore, and I pray that there will someday be a Jelly Faerie... 0:)

Return of Sloth was the Spare Faerie. Mystery Island had Eithene the Fire Faerie...

Oh. My. God!

This is so my idea! Anyone who's been around PPT for a while and who's ever paid any attention to me, would know that I once suggested TNT create Genies (male) to be the balance of the Faeries (female).

And, of course, if you were going to have Genies, you'd need a Genie PaintBrush... and this card, is exactly what I had in mind.

Well, not exactly, the natural first selection for me would have been a Blumaroo, but OMG this Chomby is so cool!

*fingers crossed that TNT continues with the Genie concept*

(PS. Go here: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6012&highlight= if you don't believe me ;) )

Oh, and is just me, or do these Tuskaninny's rock (compared the current Neopets images, I mean)?

And finally... I wish people would stop complaining about TNT making Neopets "too human". Personally, I think the majority of these images look good, and I can't see how humanizing the pets is doing any harm - if anything, they bring out even more of a pets potential. So far, the only bad anthro-Neopet I've seen is that Acara shopkeeper in Brightvale.

Eh. That's all I have to say...
