Hmm. Has CBC ever interviewed a Neopian from Canada?

You think you people who live across the country have it bad? What about us poor Neopians across the globe ?

:P

Seriously, it's about time someone set the record straight when it comes to Neopets (even though I never see any of these news reports because they don't get shown here :P )

I've never seen any press relating to Neopets, but I don't really pay that much attention to the news. All the bad things I've heard about the site came via word-of-mouth from disgruntled players (or the disgruntled friends and relatives of players :P ).

I'm suspicious as to why CBS wants to do an interview, though. They've got to have a bigger story in mind than, "Local Neopets user gushes about experience."

I have a place in NYC--does that count? :P

I'd rather not be interviewed, though. I don't really like the outside world to know I play. :P

Same here. Well, not the place in NYC.. I've never even been close to NYC. xD. But the letting the outside world know I play part.. Yeah.. I'd be made fun of for life. :)

BNP? wow, who are you? most of the young people are a bit annoying, no offense. it's a very liberal newspaper. you should contact them to get a good article. i'd totally write one, with the help of some noble PPTers

Hmmm...interesting. Is it too much to hope that the piece will be something other than "Neopets: Evil Brainwashing Enterprise Run By Spacemonkeys" or "Neopets: Happy Fun, Yay!"?

None of the media reports on the game have been anywhere in between. I'd love to see a realistic piece on Neopets in one of the major media outlets, but I'm not holding out too much hope. "Neopets: Interesting Game with Some Issues" probably won't draw many viewers.

I hope some PPTers get interviewed, though.

Yeah, and im a liberal person. Yeah some people are annoying.. Espically the ppl who are new/ or are just writing a one time article. Im 12, and ive been in BNP for about a year now. Nice to see you know. ;).. And yeah, i think a PPT style article about PPT would be great for BNP.

Ahh! Thought you were talking about the "other" BNP for a seccond then. Had to scroll up :D *Wipes away sweat*

Heh, if they ever want to interview anyone from Ireland I'll be here waiting. With my I Love Neopets flag. <3

I'd only have a few bad things to say about neopets.

Again, if you live in New Jersey, is it still possible? I'm twelve like pokemonfreak27 (whose sig I love--CCS rocks!), but I know a whole lot more about Neopets than certain people who I won't name whose accounts are a lot older than mine.

Unless I'm mistaken, New Jersey is just across the river from NYC. You can even see the Statue of Liberty from New Jersey.

Gee thanks, for the comment about the sig! :D
