Hm. When I got my lab map on my old account it cost me about 170K for the whole thing.

I remember when I came back to Neopets, and I was all "HOLY? 60K for one piece?!"

Although those were very profitable REs.

If ones lucky enough to find one, in a RE they'd make a pretty good profit off it.

I'm currently in the process of buying a lab map. I've got 8 of the pieces and it's cost me about 500K so far. All I need now is the expensive piece (almost 100K). I knew i should have brought one 2 years ago but i didn't want to empty out my bank account I would have been about 200K richer right now......

o.O Did Lab map prices jump really recently? I sold one peice for 55k about a week ago... eh?

Anyway, 300k and 200k isn't that much. I basically agree with what everyone has been saying, but a goal of around 300k I think is just right for getting an item, I mean, 2 days of playing games would get me that much easy peasy, sure I wont do that beacuse its a waste of time but its not that hard. If it was any less, people would get their main goals without worry and use less page veiws

Yeah that was the point, if things people want are expensive, they're going to have to play neopets for longer. hence more money for TNT. The Lab map isn't too expensive, but it does fluctuate around wars and with the speculation people might be buying now to sell during the war to new members who join during a war and see how awesome the battledome is.

I'm not making sense today, very disjointed sentences.

Why is one piece more than the others?


What? It takes me about a month to get 300K, at the least, with working my butt off playing games. And I thought that was doing pretty good. How can you get that in 2 days?

I mean, normally I restock - thats alot more NP, but i was sick for about 3 weeks and just sitting at the computer playing Neopets not restocking and I was getting that much easy. I played the clickable games, and thats around 20k a day. Then I was using that purdy list of sponser games someone posted (really useful ) which was alot of easy neopoints. The only thing extra was the dailies and quests - going as soon as I could if I couldn't do one. They made money pretty quickly and it wasn't a problem getting around 300k over the weekend.

Favourites is a great section, I just stick (non sponser) games in there I can get 1k from each time and it doesn't take long to get alotta neopoints.

Just get into a routine

I can get that when I have time, during the December holidays (we have holidays in Dec here in Singapore). I currently have around 900k, aiming for the Tyrannian pb + ppb + Baby pb + two petpets, around 6k each. Guess I'll have to try and save time to play abit daily, so that I'll reach 1mil faster (I wanna upgrade my bank account and get more interest ). But with the prices inflating...OMG. I do think that the pbs I want wound inflate too. This is horrible! Insane! Imagine that faerie pb!

Getting to the topic about labmaps, I bought the set this year for 500k (youch). I remembered there was once when it was about 30k. When I bought, one was around 40k (cheapest) and 80k (most expensive). I didn't search the shop wiz about the maps ever since I had the labray. Now...I didn't know they inflate so fast suddenly! What's wrong with neo?!

Buy your codestones before they inflate during the 'upcoming' war

I've got two in my deposit box. My strongest pet is my lab rat. THough his levels arent very high, due to him being a lab rat.

I've got quite a few, not sure if I should use them or wait till it's war time and sell them for a profit

I have fifty over . They are saved for my future battle pet.

Edit: And nono I didn't buy them! I won them! (REs and Tombola ) Once, in 2 days, I got 4 of them! All from tombola!

I bought a lab map in my first account for about 100k a couple of years ago and I just bought one in my current account for about 230k. I was very lucky with it and found 2 or 3 of the peices from random events. I also seem to be very lucky with the zapping. My skeith turned into a gelert which was quickly changed into an island gelert. I don't seem to get very many attribute points taken away either, only added. Sorry if I seem to be bragging, not to worry, I'm unlucky at everything else.

I found 8 pieces of the lab map with RE's, thats about one every 2 months

now that I have access to the lab....any pieces I might get....are going for sale
