but i don't see how having the food for the kadoaties in your inventory compaired to having various items in your hands when doing the basic jobs is any different. I know of one of the kadoatie feeders that got frozen last night right after feeding them. Their name sat there, i like looking at names i know from time to time, and saw the account had been frozen. Agree though, rules need to be posted, not just generic stuff cause i am sorry, i still don't see how it can really be cheating to have items in your inventory.
It's not cheating to have items in your inventory.
It's cheating to have
more than 50 items in your inventory for the sole purpose of feeding as many kadoaties in the kadoatery as possible.
That's the line that was crossed.
I have to agree with you 100%, shapu--as usual.
However, it seems that whenever Neopets creates something new, lots of people get frozen shortly thereafter for figuring out a way to get around the rules. You would think that when Neopets is creating something new, they would be able to think ahead of some of the possible ways that people will try to get an advantage over others--and they would take some action to prevent that from happening in the first place.
Because if given a chance, some people will cheat. The temptation to get the trophy would be too great for some folks--particularly if they can justify to themselves that what they are doing isn't really "cheating."
Like the delicious cookie sitting on the kitchen table. Mom says don't eat it and then she leaves the kitchen for awhile. You and I wouldn't eat it. Most people wouldn't eat it. But, some people will succumb to the urge and take a nibble or two on the underside so Mom doesn't notice when she returns. So, why did Neopets leave the cookie on the kitchen table in the first place?
What I mean to say is, didn't someone at Neopets think that this type of thing would happen when they created the feed the kadoatie thingie? Couldn't they have fixed the inventory beforehand so that it could only hold 50 items--even those coming out of the SDB? After all, you can't send anyone anything if they have more than 50 items in your inventory. You can't buy anything if you have more than 50 items in your inventory. Why can't they make it so you can't take anything out of the SDB if you have more than 50 items in your inventory? It just seems like such an easy fix.
Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?
